Our mission, at the Bayan Hassaballa Foundation, is to “Paint The World Pink For Bayan.” Part of this mission is to support those organizations that help kids with cancer in general and which helped Bayan in particular.

We are pleased to announce that the Bayan Hassaballa Foundation has given grants to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. We call them “Bayan’s Birthday Gifts” because today, December 30, is Bayan’s birthday.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation gave Bayan a highly specialized bike so she could ride like other kids. We still remember her wide, beautiful smile the day she got it. And so, we are very happy to support this wonderful charity.

Bayan’s AT presented special challenges when it came to chemotherapy, as kids with AT can’t take normal doses for treatment. We reached out to St. Jude’s, as we learned they had developed special chemotherapy protocols specifically for kids with AT. They gave us their protocol immediately, without asking for anything in return. And so, we are also so very happy to support St. Jude’s with a Birthday Gift.
