Our Foundation works to support those causes that help kids afflicted with A-T and malignancies. In 2008, Bayan met beautiful Olivia Veldink, another child afflicted with A-T, at the pasta party prior to the Chicago Marathon. Who knew that, one day, both girls would be running in Heaven together.
Earlier this year, A-T took another beautiful soul from this earth: Olivia suffered an infection and passed away. In honor of her memory, the Bayan Hassaballa Foundation donated $1000 to the A-T Children’s Project, a wonderful organization that works to find a cure for this terrible disease.
Please help us continue to “Paint the World Pink for Bayan” by supporting our organization.
The Bayan Hassaballa Foundation is very happy to announce that a private family foundation has generously donated $8300 to support our work!
“On behalf of the foundation, we are happy to donate to such a worthy cause. We truly admire the time and effort you and your charity dedicate towards A-T and the memory of Bayan,” said the foundation’s representative, who requested to remain anonymous.
This most generous gift, just in time for Bayan’s birthday, will go a very long way to help us “Paint the World Pink for Bayan” by funding research into a cure for A-T, a cure for cancer, and helping ease the lives of children with cancer.
From the bottom of our hearts here at the Bayan Hassaballa Foundation, we thank this wonderful family foundation for their tremendous generosity and support.
It’s not too late to help us “Paint the World Pink for Bayan”! Please donate generously today.
Every year, the Foundation donates its proceeds to those organizations that help relieve the suffering of children with cancer, fund research into a cure for A-T, and those organizations that made a difference in Bayan’s life. We do this in commemoration of Bayan’s birthday, which is December 30.
This year we decided Bayan would have loved to donate to Make-A-Wish, who gave her the amazing gift of a custom-made bike. She was beyond excited when she received this gift from a donor through Make-A-Wish. She was able to ride a bike for the first time on her own, and this meant the world to her.
Also, the foundation will give a gift to St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Through its research, St. Jude’s has helped countless kids with their cancer-fighting protocols, one of whom was Bayan. And, of course, we cannot forget the A-T Children’s Project who strive everyday towards finding a cure for this debilitating disease, which made Bayan’s life so difficult. They also offer moral support and resources to help families cope, and they helped our family tremendously.
It’s not too late to help paint the world pink for Bayan! Please give generously to the Bayan Hassaballa Foundation today.
